Day 16: Perth, Harbor Town
LAST DAY!!!!
it's our last day here and we have planned to go shopping! went to have a very full and nice breakfast at our fav HK dim sum restaurant where we ate for 1 hr!!! hahaha...
then we took the free yellow CAT bus to reach Harbour town where the factory outlets are.
went shopping!!! bought quite a lot of things back for our parents and some for our relatives.
then we went to have our dinner at Northbridge. ate Portuguese chicken but we dun think it's nice. then went back to our hostel to pack up and prepare to check-out.
Daniel called us and together with his friends, sent us to the airport. Daniel is coming back with us too cos he had graduated. but different flight and timings.
slept all the way throughout the flight and it was quite uncomfortable for my legs. went to have breakfast at Mac before we met Daniel to pass him back his stuffs.
and off we went! took a cab down dropping yuling first before we all go back home.
it's really a fun and exciting trip for the 4 of us. a very memorable one too. the friendship bonds among us built up more and more during these 16-days trip. it's like 相依为命 kind of life. =p
hope to have another trip soon!!! =p

Day 15: Fremantle
Fremantle!!!
Daniel drove us to fremantle in the afternoon. and yes, he is quite free cos he had finished his exams! hahaha... and we have a free driver.
fremantle has lots of europe-like buildings which i am so surprised by it. fremantle last time is a fishing harbour. tat's y it's fish and chips and seafoods are sooo nice and cheap here!
went to shop at the famous fremantle markets but didnt buy much things. hahaha....
at night, we went to the Little Creatures for our dinner. it's supposed to be a little pub-like place but i saw small children walking around the place!
we had pizzas and mussels!!! 2 tubs of mussels!!! yuling and i kept on eating them without realizing that the other 3 only ate a little. hahaha... pai seh pai seh.... but it was really tasty! but ex too. =p
after which, we passed by the Cottesole beach which we wanted to go to badly. so daniel dropped us there. at least we went there before right? though everything is dark.
next up, daniel was craving for ice cream! so off we went to Perth for our ice cream! in such a cold weather...
we decided to go back early to pack our luggage. kelly also wanted us to stay up and chit-chat. but i guess all of us were really tired... =p

Day 14: Perth City
Bye Augusta!!! Hi Perth!
woke up early in the morning to catch the bus back to Perth.
thanks to kelly and my sis who woke up even earlier to prepare our breakfast. there are double rainbows that bid us goodbye. and so, we left the cosy cottage. a little 'she bu de' and i can tell tat most of us are feeling a little moody.
back to perth means that our trip is going to end soon. took a very very long ride from 8.30am to 2.30pm where we finally reached Perth city. took a cab back to the billabong resort.
rested for a while and playing cards again. after that yuling went to meet his friend while the 3 of us went to shop around Perth. but the shops closes so early! so we ended up sitting inside KFC while waiting for yuling to call us.
meet up with daniel for dinner. he brought us to meet other friends and we had japanese food for dinner. a little awkward cos we didnt really know the rest.
then we went to Burswood, the casino. tour around for a while. then daniel asked us whether we wanted to go to the club. but it was raining quite heavily and we decided to go back to the hostel.
was really tired tat day. slept in daniel's car most of the time. i guess it was from the lack of sleep the previous night and from the long bus ride. drained.... hahaha....

Day 13: Augusta, Cape Leuwin
Lighthouse!!!
my most awaited part of the tour! CAPE LEEUWIN!!! it's where the Indian and Southern Oceans meet!
it was really cold that day and we saw ice rain when we were leaving the house. we thought we can ta han the cold by walking to the Cape ourselves. it was 5km!!! but the cold was really really too much... so we called and booked a cab down.
Cape Leeuwin is really really nice. very strong wind and cold. then we walked down the hill and went to the Skipper's stones and kelly was almost swept away by the Indian Ocean!!! hahaha...
really cold tat day and the 3 of us had a chit-chat session until 3am!!!
poor kelly and sis had to woke up quite early to prepare breakfast for us. =p

Day 12: Augusta
Bye Margaret River!!! Hello Augusta!!!
went to have our breakfast cum lunch at margaret river. lingered at the tourist information centre for another round of photo-taking. then we went to wait for the Transwa bus to our next destination--- Augusta!!!
arrived at Augusta and the accommodation is a lovely cottage! the front view faces the blackwood river with many black swans swimming across.
after settling down, we went up to the hill to the town for another round of grocery shopping!!!
and yes... out of curiosity, we bought kangaroo meat!!! hahaha... it tasted like..... meat. it's quite hard, but not bad. specially cooked by yuling but we were all scalded by the oil splashing!
but it got a little scary at night cos the wind was blowing quite strong and it was pitch dark outside. so we stayed inside our little cosy cottage to watch tv! hahaha... =p

Day 11: Margaret River and Busselton Jetty
Busselton!!! and HAPPY Birthday KELLY!!!
initially we dunno what is the plan for the day cos Margaret river is really big and u will need a car to travel around. then, my sis suggested driving!!!
and off we went to Busselton Jetty!!! the 2 km jetty that stretches all the way in the middle of Indian Ocean!!! the waves were REALLY BIG!!! and the jetty was closed halfway cos it was too dangerous for tourist to go ahead.
then we went to Prevalley and again, the waves of the Indian Ocean is really too big!!! it feels like we are fighting a war. haha... so off we go!
returned the car and then we went back home to cook dinner! hahaha...
had a fun and eventful day! and Busselton jetty is really really beautiful! =p

Day 10: Margaret River
Bye Bunbury! Welcome to Margaret River!!!
took the Transwa bus to margaret river.
to our surprise, the accommodation turned out so much better than what we have expected. cos it's Margaret River Tourist Park where there are caravan type of accommodations.
we have our own kitchen!!! Kelly is excited about that!!! didnt took much photos tat day cos after bathing, off we went to the supermarket for our grocery shopping!
Fun, fun, fun! and margaret river area is really so much peaceful and quieter than Perth city.

Day 9: Bunbury
Away from Perth!! Hi Bunbury!!!took Transwa train from perth and we travelled to Bunbury!unfortunately, the hostel's reception only opened at 4pm. so we decided to leave our luggage there and took the chance to explore this city. a lot of sea view and we went up the Rotary Lookout tower to enjoy the Indian Ocean sea view and it's very windy and cold!a little disappointed with our accomodations cos we have separate rooms. i asked kelly to sleep with me and so, the 3 gals share a room and yuling share a room with 5 other ppl. a little pity that we cant go to the Dolphin Discovery Centre cos it closes at 3pm. yuling and i tried our best to rush and follow the map but in the end we still cant find the place... sorry to the 2 gals. hahaha... mood got a little affected by it... =p

Day 8: Rottnest Island
finally!!! ROTTNEST!!!board the morning ferry at abt 10am but reached rottnest island at 12pm!!! hahaha.... a little sea sick...rottnest island is a nature reserve and it's home to small and cute animal known as the Quokka! we touched and tried to feed them too.cos the ferry will leave at 4pm, we only have limited time to explore the island. nonetheless, we managed to capture nice scenic view of the island and saw dolphins! though it isnt tat clear lah. hahaha...took a lot of back view photos. thanks to yuling arh... and kelly too... she always walk at the back capturing ppl's back view. hahaha...at night, daniel met us for dinner and brought us to have Ipoh Hor Fun. our last day here in perth for the time being. =p

Day 7: Wave Rock
The WAVE ROCK!!!
went on day tour again. this time to the magnificent wave rock.
on the way, we went to York where it's quite cow-boy like city. and it's really cold down there.
after tat we went to the longest rabbit fence, again, the wind was blowing cold air onto our faces.
next up is the dog cemetery. an interesting place where the dogs are buried.
had lunch at some beautiful place before we reached the wave rock. going up the stairs to the top and them climbing down from there. it's scary and slippery. hahaha...
then we went to the Hippo yawn and as bonus, the tour guide brought us to the Mulka's cave where legend said he eats small children. bloody handprints can be seen around the cave.
finally, we took a very very long ride back to perth and we are damn hungry!
saw lots of beautiful and big stars!!! i dun think u can see it over here in Singapore.
a very tiring trip. but lots of beautiful views. a lot of reflections i had when i am at the top of the wave rock. =p time to ponder....

Day 6: Swan Valley
Swan Vally!!!
went on day tour to the swan valley. it's where the vineyard in Perth is.
a lot of wine tasting, cheese tasting and chocolate tasting!
got a little drunk in the middle of the tour. during the last bit of the tour, 4 of us decided to stop wine tasting and instead, went around taking lots of photos. hahaha... and the tour guide jokingly told us he will be watching us cos we are always the last to get onto the bus.
had a fun and relaxing day. vineyards are really beautiful. a pity that the grapes aren't ripe yet. =p

Day 5: Mandurah
Wonderful MANDURAH!!!
initially wanted to go Rottnest island tat day. but unfortunately, we all overslept!
then xian xian msged me to ask where we will be gg. and so, we all decided to go mandurah tat day!
mandurah had such a nice scenery and all of us love tat place a lot.
was very happy and excited to meet up with xian xian and the small union really makes our day so much enjoyable! =p

Day 4: Pinnacles
PINNACLES!!! KANGAROOS! KOALA! WOMBAT!
this day we went on a day tour to Pinnacles!!!
on the way we went to the Caversham Wildlife Park where we fed kangeroos, touched the koalas and take pics with wombat!
then we went to Lancelin for sandboarding!
nice view and the sky was really really beautiful though the journey was very long and tiring. =p

Day 2: Perth City
Good morning PERTH!!!
woke up early in the morning feeling so cold!
took pics at Daniel's house while the guys are still sleeping
then Daniel took us out to have breakfast @ Vietnamese restaurant and the share is really really huge!
the rest of the day we went around perth city and we got lost on our way to our hostel. hahaha...
